Frequently asked questions

How often does astronomy club meet?

Astronomy club meeting information will be posted on the front page of our website at least one week prior to the meeting.

What does astronomy club do during meetings?

During our normal meetings, we update our members on current space news. This means we talk about recent discoveries, upcoming launches, and night sky observation reports. We also have meet ups off campus for events like space talks. Just last semester, we held a star party at the Planetarium where students and friends could observe the sky with different telescopes.

Do I need experience or any knowledge to join?

Not at all! Any and all skill levels are welcome to join.

I want to join but I can't come to every meeting, can I still be a member?

Of course! If you are unable to attend meetings or events, you can still be a member and receive information and event invites throughout the semester
